...... if people would replace the asian with x race, would you think it would be a catastrophic of racism involve in the discussion? when it is asian cant drive... there is no one to say "thats racist"

anyone notice this?



i mean..... why is the majority ONLY accepts "asian cant drive" stereotype? why not other race too? i see many race that cant drive. i never been to china or china town so i dont know but it seems true that asian cant drive but i see alot of other race that cant drive too but doesnt get a stereotype lable.

i honestly think mexican cant drive. in fact if asian cant drive.... mexican worse drive. their tall trucks and suv is stepping all over the lanes and without signaling. one time i got scared.... they steping on my lane back and forth..... i got so scared and angry at the same time... they almost bump my car. i horn.... they horn back. why would they horn back? they think they not wrong? they like teen driver but not. maybe they cant handle their tall trucks and suv but still want to drive it.

What I been witnessing. Recently immigrated Asians are absolutely horrible drivers. Not so much the American born ones. The older gentlemen I have ridden in the vehicle with are oblivious to everything around them. They drive at their leisure on the left lane. Whenever they need to point out a point of interest to their passengers, or look for a particular bldg they don't care if they slowed down to a snail's pace while other cars are right behind them. I don't know what it is, but for some reason they cannot turn their head to check blind spots when moving over to the next lane. They hit the blinker, squint at the side mirror, and slowly move over hoping other vehicles get the point.

BTW, I'm Asian too but know how to drive. It makes me sad that many fit the stereotype.

Any FOB from the third world take a lot of time to get used to.

The reason Chinese can't drive is because they can't have driver's license until they own a car(Or that is what my Chinese tenant told me).

I think that makes sense because Japanese and Koreans drive just fine.

Old fart white crackers are the worse offenders of the bolded and underlined part down here. As a matter of fact, earlier tonight there was a slow moving mini van with left blinker on, in the left lane, and of course, a white oldie driver.

To answer the OP question, the Asians have better things to worry about. They could yell "racist" and blame everything on whiteys like certain group. Maybe that is why they are the most successful minority group, just right behind white.

Just like the stereotype that Southerners are slow, drunk, not too bright, and not open mind. I spent years and grew up in the South and some of that were true, most were not.
