We're handing out 23K a year. For doing nothing. For not being productive. THIS is what is wrong with this country.
What part of "pension" do you not understand? Not welfare, pension.

Is there any aspect of your abject ignorance that you do not publicly flaunt?

If I tried to build my own road, government would arrest me and send me to jail.

You can do that all you want on your property. Government roads all exist on government property.

I can tell you many landowners here in Texas have built their own roads on their lands. Hunting leases are very popular here.

The guy barely has two brain cells to rub together, how can you expect him to read?

He doesn't understand defined benefit plans but he does understand when his mommy buys him some cherios.

Damn, that's even more ignorant than your previous post. Are you in some sort of contest to see how utterly dysfunctional you can appear to be?

That is why we should have less government, so more people can build their own roads and not be restricted. Less government, more freedom.

Yeah, great idea, then we can have roads going everywhere and nowhere. THey can be shitty roads and charge a toll everywhere. Then interstate commerce can be effectively shut down and we can all go back to being farmers. Social infrastructure, such as hospitals, police, and fire stations would be charged tolls and couldn't be fast responders, as roads might not even join each other or may be of very poor quality as they switch from property to property.

Cars were a novelty prior to governments taking over road building. Think about that asshat.

Are you that fucking dumb or are you just trolling?

You weren't born in a hospital? You never drove on a public road? You never attended any public education institution? You never read a book or were taught a class by someone who had a public education? You built your house with your bare hands, refusing to take into account the many marvels of math, science and construction that came via society working together? Just how do you use this internet, you know, the one built by the government and opened up by the government to commercial interests thanks to Al Gore?

This is a very, very, very tired argument.

I attended private schooling, funded by the public and my parents OWN DAMN MONEY, charter school if you will.

I built my house by paying others with MONEY that I EARNED.

Don't talk to me about internet, I built a good portion of it in my state and am paid handsomely to do it across the world.

Fuck you communist. I will succeed not because of you, but despite you.

Roads are probably the least restrictive thing a government can do. Roads take you places. It really is the opposite of restrictive.

Where did your parents get the money? Where did they go to school? What did they do for jobs?

Then you can thank the government for your job, bitch, because without them you wouldn't have one to build the internet "across the world" (I doubt you've even been outside KY). Everything you are, everything you do, is because somebody else paid higher taxes.

Even the two best capitalists in *HISTORY* recognize this. It's why you won't succeed, you're too fucking dumb.

How is it communist to recognize that not everything is "me me me". If anything you're an anarchist fuck who wants to return this country to pre-1900 economics.

You should live in China. My brother lives there and there is very little government intrusion in industry there. He doesn't even know for sure what "meat" is in a meal!

I'm no communist and I'm pretty fiscally conservative. I do, however, recognize that there is a cost to society and I'm willing to pay it. It beats living out in the savannah, you know?

You can recognize a socialist once you see those words. Cost to society. Everything is a cost to society to socialists(and psychologists and sociologists). Fuck, even eating meat is a cost to society. Fuck you socialists.

What's sad is that they don't even realize that without a strong government they would be living on the savannah. They think that they'd have their jobs, their house, their cars, their roads, their police, their fire, their hospitals, their TV, because the "free market" would provide everything. They don't realize that the "free market" would provide them nothing and that they'd be nothing more than serfs to aggregated capital.

Yeah, gosh, we wouldn't want to prevent something like Melamine being injected into everything for the sake of profit.

After all, the Koch brothers only want to enhance society by getting more than $43BN in wealth through the free pollution of our entire environment. Let future generations figure out how to fix it, right?

It's a pension you sputtering moron. While I'm sure it's a hard concept for a snot-nosed teenage child who still lives at home, it's something one EARNS for working hard all one's life.

Given that you consistently show you know absolutely nothing about the real world (and are unwilling to learn), here's a thought. Why don't you STFU and run along and play? You can get back to us once you've actually done something useful with your life instead of just mooching off Mom and Dad.

You wouldn't recognize a real Socialist if you met one; you've fallen for the Tea Party/Beck/Hannity/Limbaugh false definition, hook, line and sinker.

Roads were built via taxation in the Roman Empire. That wasn't socialism, it was cost to society. Trade flourished and so did society.

How exactly do we fund a military without paying it? How do we fund roads? Even if a central government wasn't in charge of these things, people still have to pool money together to create such things. Individuals cannot do it on their own.

It is the cost of society. Call it something else if it makes you feel better, but it is the same principle.

Sales bitch, sales. I make money by making others money, I make money by making myself make more money, i thought your figured this out by now...that's your job as well, right?

If you haven't figured out sales makes money then you're not as high up as I thought you were. You're a company bitch, you bring no value, you bring nothing to the bottom line and therefore you are just an unproductive whore. Barely worthy the upkeep.

Fuck that man. Everybody knows that the Romans only controlled half the known world because they...ummm...

Wait, let me think of it.

I'll think of something eventually.

Ohh yeah, because they....

Hmmm....

Fuck, I give up. Imma gonna go ask my mom to make me some pancakes.

Sales of what? Better not be goods, otherwise you can't use the roads. Better not be through the phones, because switching technology and infrastructure took huge leaps from the government. Better not be the internet.

Let me guess, you operate via carrier pigeon?

Where do your customers get money? Hope they don't depend on anything remotely connected to the government either.

It's especially funny because it was greed and corruption that killed the Roman Empire. Those in power only cared about themselves and the result was collapse.

Not that I see any parallels.

Interesting point. I guess it brings up the question - at what point does the common good outweigh the individual good (freedom)? If individual good is deemed the most important, then are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of the romans? If common good weighs the most, do we become a true communist nation?
