Why is Spanish language television so sexually charged?

I am talking about Univision and Galavision. Every single program has girls dancing in it. Seems like most programs are either comedy or variety/talk shows. They all look the Man show in Spanish. No matter what, a talk show will have a parade of hotties dressed in nothing but bikinis. This is aside from the scantily clad girls dancing on the audience side. If it's not that, then the girls in the show are scantily dressed. Like what's the deal?

Here is one more thing I don't get. Ok they have a lot of hotties on it, but then they have these old women on there, who have had multiple surgeries, their skin looks messed up, and so does the face. But they act and try to lookvery young. And sometimes girls have so much makeup on them, that it looks photochoped.

Their plots are so ridiculous that they hope parading 2/3 naked women will make you not notice.

🙂

They have plots! :Q

it's true...
i guess because once it starts with one show, people do watch it so the other shows have to do the same or lose audience]

btw amazing...tommy posted something believable

People will rant about everything these days.....
Sexually Charged = Good
Americans are weird...
They have no problem with all of this violence in TV, yet they are scared of tits....
?
This doesn't make any sense... 😕
I would rather watch a porno movie than a violent movie....

Lol, yeah I always wondered that too. I always see that one fat guy get in the hot tub with some "lucky" girl in a bikini.

I think it's just a cultural thing. US television is seriously fvcked up. For example: recently I watched Terminator 2 on TNT, where they censored words like "balls" (From the scene at Cyberdyne where John says "we've really got Skynet by the balls now"), but left in the scene where the T1000, as the security guard, kills the real security guard by stabbing him through the eye.

Get real, lol.

I would rather have my son (if i had one) watch a Die Hard movie than to watch Todd and Whitney's short but compelling movie: "Anal Adventure". And In all honesty, it's embarrassing for a parent to watch some one nude with their kid right beside them. Just an unpleasant thought.

Its cultural. You will notice, that even the older phat gals are treated in a way that lets them feel sexually desired. We have a large Hispanic population in my city and when they
feel safe, the women love to flirt. It means very little, its just a game. 😎 Just be cool about it.

Tommy, generally, Hispanics are very dedicated to family, faith & culture.
Without going political, I respect their work ethic. I've worked side by side w/them.

i agree. Its ok for ABC to show Saving Private Ryan uncut with all the blood, death and language, but when ABC showed Shindlers List uncut with full frontal nudity on men and women, people came unglued and wrote all sorts of protest letters to ABC.

I dont get it.... MDK is ok, naked human body bad.

It is not your fault, but it proves my point that we live in a culture of violence...
Human Body = Bad, embarrasing, not OK to watch, cover your eyes etc, etc (and why?)
but
Blood, Violence = OK, "real men" do that, etc, etc.
And I am not really talking about the extremes here.
I would not watch a porn with my kid either, but a little bit of "natural" nudity should be more than OK...
