Why is religion protected when it is founded in schizophrenia yet gays are not

Is this fair to rational thinking human beings

Schizophrenics see stuff you and I do not .. they think it is real...

Religion infects our whole society and we do nothing to stop them.. even give them tax free status.. how is that fair to humanity when they are nearly identical to schizophrenics yet we coddle them and let them hate on others

truth.. religion is nearly identical to schizophrenia yet we let them make laws in our culture and even tell us on every dollar that we must trust in their god

"In God we trust" came from a time when religions such as christianity were well received by many many people. Remember, there were no other answers other than religion not too long ago. That quote united everyone under a similar notion. Religious people will defend any unanswerable questions with "faith", as opposed to paranoid delusional schizophrenia.

To answer your original question, there's no easy answer because it will always come down to personal morals and beliefs, which in turn comes down to mans inherent inability to accept that we just don't know what's after death...people desire/need answers, and with that comes all the extra happy BS that religion brings, such as homophobia.

Anyways, i'm exhausted. I hope this makes sense to someone else other than me lol..

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Homophobic religions people are the least of our worries when it comes to religion. Christianity vs. Islam could very well be the end of us all in the long run.

You mention schizophrenia. Just show scientific evidence of your contention in the literature. Also if gays get attacked the law is on their side and I wouldn't have it any other way. Now in which state is it permitted? Oh snap none. Now you say gays aren't protected but no where in this nation is it allowed. Your statement is at odds with reality. How long have you been suffering from these delusions?

Well two things, this country's society was founded on Judeo-christian beliefs and the bulk of this country believes in a christian God. Next christians hate gays no more than atheists hate christians. And clearly you are a total moron because you don't even understand what schizo is. And if you are a gay lover, find a better argument.
