If you can't see the difference between the two quotations, please report to remedial reading class immediately.

Third grade remedial reading.

But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy

Yeah... Big difference. No point in posting the legislation for people to review prior to a vote ala Obama's campaign promises... Nope. First we RAM it through THEN you get to see what's in it... Then you can complain all you want because now that it's law you can't do anything anyway. Muahahaha...

Big difference. Yup. Open and transparent my ass... The whole process on that debacle was so poorly handled and shady... I don't know how anyone can defend how that all went down.

But the voters do remember. And Nancy is speaker no more... well... in a little bit anyway.

But cheer up republirats, if you think you benefitted from people's anger on 11/2010, just wait until 11/2012, when the American people will be way beyond angry at the GOP.

Perhaps, but they'll all have jobs again and be too busy working and earning money to travel across the country and complain at rallies. :p

You keep defaulting to the Limbaugh misquotation.
There should be enough legitimate grounds for criticism of Speaker Pelosi without having to resort to the Limbaugh Lie.

talking about lies you just did a good one..

This is what you said. It is not what you just posted, he corrected you. You also posted a cut off comment. His quote is exactly what was said.

WTF are you asking this question 4 years after she got the position?

I got like twelve pamphlets from the RNC stating "VOTE AGAINST PELOSI BEFORE SHE CLEANS OUT THE REST OF YOUR WALLET!"
with a picture of her doing googly hands

Listen for once.

Her point was clear. She was saying the bill had good things in it, that people are not understanding because the opposition is so loudly screaming at them.

So she is saying, once it is passed and in effect, and the screaming goes away because they aren't trying to block it, it will let you hear again and understand what's actually in the bill in a way that people are not understanding what's in the bill with constant attacks and ads and more attacking and misrepresenting what's in it.

She DID NOT say she did not know.

She DID NOT say that you are in any way prevented from knowing as far as the government's part - only by the attackers misleading people.

Get it yet why your attack is wrong? If not, you can't understand this basic quote distortion and there's no point discussing it.

Funny enough, the confusion you have over this quote and not getting what she said is a bit like the confusion people had not getting what's in the bill.

They all mean the same thing. Pass the bill first, then find out what's in it. Don't worry, you'll hear the same kind of BS from the Republicans over the next couple of years, except you won't be working so hard to find a way to excuse their lies and misinformation.

It's like trying to teach Immanuel Kant to a bunch of slow third-graders...

Read my posts. I am no fan of nor defender of Representative Pelosi. I just get pissed off at seeing this same misquotation endlessly repeated. The two statements mean the same only if you don't really understand English. If repeating this misquotation is the best you can do, give up. Limbaugh and Hannity don't need the help.

I think this lady has done more damage than anything to the image of house democrats. Why? I don't know, she is sort of scary looking and can come off as extremely divisive, which is probably a huge turn off to people. (I.E., if she was extremely attractive, I doubt the negative ads would work so well)

Anyway, why was she chosen as speaker? And was this a horrible move for democrats as I just off-the-cuff believe?

Why is Pelosi speaker of the house?

She isn't anymore so stop whining about her

I didn't repeat anything, I said that both quotes have the same meaning. Pass the bill then you can see what's in it.

Study English and attain some fluency, then get back to me. I'm done trying to inform the terminally dim.

She is one of the most powerful women in the United States and third in line for the President. As such she is the target of every piece of shit Republican in the Universe and billions have been spent to smear her name. Other popular figures are Harry Reid and President Obama. All scum because they have been slimed by the masters of slime. All the trained morons and brainwashed self hating assholes on the planet hate them because it has been drilled into their heads. These people are inimical to Republican business interests and the wielding of the One Ring. Everywhere they travel hideous birds of carrion circle their heads. Everywhere the go they draw millions of shit flies. The party of death keeps them always in their sights. There must never be any hope. You must always be the victim of self hate. No escape for you.

he is just pissed about prop 19??

I do not condone pot but you need some a couple xanax and a vacation from white republicans.
