Why is peanut butter only liked in the USA?

peanut butter and grape jelly with a big glass of milk is heaven! I even have a special PB&J milk glass that I use only when I'm eating PB&J and drinking milk.
 
I like peanut butter but can't eat too much without it making things 'come out too soft'.

I use the self grind machine at the health food market, which has organic unsalted peanutes in it.
I eat it from the jar, with crackers, apples, bananas. I don't eat jelly anymore. I like to put it on chocolate, a lot better than a Reeces with their peanuty sugar butter stuff.
