Why is Passmark doing this?

When I open Passmark, the windows are all black until I run the mouse cursor down, and then they become visible. Its like some kind of CPU bug? It does this even after rebooting the PC.

Also, the Print Screen button will not function when Passmark is open. Which is why I had to take the photo with my tablet? This all seems strange to me.

This starting screen is actually a pretty demanding 3d rendering/graphics thingy, what kind of system is it? Does it have and does it recognize a discreet graphics card?

Updating the graphics (and any other) driver is never a bad idea when you get weird behavior.

it's a 2500k + GTX 970

gpu driver is performing fine in games and unigine benchmarks

i didnt have this issue before, reformatted PC about a week ago and little issues are cropping up now

Likely a software bug of some sort. I've had this happen on some of my rigs. Sometimes, it were just drivers, sometimes the newer version of PassMark fixed that. I'd contact the software vendor, if I were you.
