in our country, the palestinians are considered the "bad guys" and our government is very friendly towards israel, so obviously the media will be more slanted towards israel.

oh and the jewish media thing probably has a little truth to it (dont yell at me, im jewish too)

Funny, but in the last few years I've thought the media was more slanted towards the Palestinians. Giving them the coveted "victim" status.

The US likes winners.

When the Palestinians get a clue and stop electing homocidal terrorists as president, and supporting homocidal Hamas terrorists incapable of blowing up themselves fast enough to rid the world of their idiotic scurge, then they may be liked by the US.

Actually, if Palestinians remain incapable of actively defining their own fate they will continue to be the doormats of the mid-east. The rest of the Arab and Islamic world is just letting the Palestinians siphon off a lot of the Israeli's self-defensive, aggressive tendencies.

Even the Arab and Islamic worlds don't consider Palestinians to be winners. That's why none of them, except Jordan -- which has no choice -- won't permit Palestinians to live in their countries. That's why they're demanding that Israel give Palestinians a place to live and call their own.

They're perfectly willing to let their two major irritants irriate one another somewhere over the horizon from where they themselves live.

your question is best answered by a simple look at the individuals that own all major news corporations (with the notable exception of fox)

I don't have an answer to the question. But do you really think the owners of these networks have that much input into the day to day operations of these networks? I mean these are huge operations. I really don't think there is some kind of Jewish conspiracy, if I had to guess it would probably be an old fashioned prejudice that causes these so called slants.

On CNN, I never really see any commentary that's pro-Israel. Maybe you're just looking for media that's *anti-*Israel...may I suggest

ptimes.com
ahram.org.eg/weekly
jordantimes.com

Those places will give you all the anti-Israel stuff you're searching for :)

Opening page of the Middle East section on CNN at 3:56pm Pacific. It's talking about the Israeli helicopter attacks in Gaza...

The state of Israel should never have been created, especially in such a hostile region of the world. I don't think I'll ever understand why the U.S. did not allow Jewish refugees to emigrate to this country after the war.

of course not... but i think it goes beyond that just the owners. there are a lot of jews down the chain of command, so to speak.

i don't really think it's a conspiracy, just perhaps some bias.

Is there such a thing as a "Christian bias?"

<< I think a "Christian bias" means "fair and balanced." Just my 0.02 dollars. >>

are you christian?

to me a christian bias means imposing their sense of morality onto everybody else as if it were fact.
