Lies, deceit and manipulation are not impeachable offenses unless you're under oath. That's called politics.

Are you kidding me?

He is spending circles around Bush and most of what Bush spent is on his hands and the hands of the democrat congress too and these same people are now doing far worse.

The magnitude of irresponsibility he is showing by trying to force a massive healthcare package that will cost well more than a half a trillion dollars at a time when this country is on the verge of economical collapse is unbelievably egregious.

At a time when he should be forcing people off the government tit he is augmenting welfare to allow more on and on easier, forking out unprecedented amount of money in useless bail outs, thus rewarding our countries failures hand over fist while punishing the winners.

The direction he is taking us in we will not survive, he is adding weight to our already dragging anchor as fast as he can.

The only way this country is going to endure is with him and his cronies removed from office and a sink or swim, survival of the fittest type of reform put in place.

Either way the massive dead weight in this country is a goner, we just have to decide if we all go down with them like Obama is laying the ground work or we cut them loose and swim.

Cost of 8 years of Bush 2: 12 trillion

2008 deficit: 1.2 trillion

Republican promised cost of Iraq war: 60 billion

Actual estimated (conservatively): 3 trillion

And then some people wonder why the current criticisms coming from Republicans seem a tad, oh I don't know...

No "high crimes or misdemeanors" committed; no impeachment.

You should try reading the Constitution next time before you post. You just might look like less of a moron:

Section 4, Article II:
The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

JUST SMILE AND WAVE BOYS!

"That's true but the problem we're facing is that unless the American people put a stop to it, the inexorable trend is toward a pure socialist system. Ever since the 1920s, each new socialist and interventionist program has brought new crises, which then have been used as the excuse for new socialist and interventionist programs.

Everywhere you look today here in the United States, there is a crisis: Social Security, the drug war, Medicare, Medicaid, the monetary system, the banking system, the financial system, FDIC, welfare, terrorism, immigration. There is obviously a common denominator in all this: the federal government, and specifically its socialist and interventionist (and imperialist) programs.

But we're not supposed to say that. Instead, we're expected to repeat the official mantras that everyone is taught in public school and in state-supported universities: The reasons for all these crises and failures is deregulation, insufficient regulation, the wrong people in office, speculators, greed, OPEC, terrorists, Muslims, illegal aliens, or whatever. We're simply not supposed to even suggest that it's the system itself that is the problem. "

If we don?t then at the rate he is going by the end of his first year he will have spent ( wasted) more money than any other president has spent in their entire term in office.

Believe it's more like, If we let him continue spending the way he has, He will have spent more money than ALL the presidents before him combined. We're at what over a Trillion a month?

I didn't vote in this election. Not so much because of THe Runners, but the times. I felt whoever won. Was going to have a really tough time of it.

Blaming Obama for this is crazy. This thing took way more than Obama to pull off.

Years and years of work went into this baby.

THE BIG banks will not allow their puppets to do whats needed. We forfeit. Or we go back on gold /silver/ platinium notes. Thats what would work the best . Something REAL!

You quoted him and responded with one of the best non sequiturs ever.

Him: Water is wet.
You: What do you mean? Pizza is the best food ever!

Spidey is hardly an Obama fan, but he realizes that impeachment is not something which can be used for performance, but an action which can only be used for criminal acts.

Examples:

Obama decides that a policy is good and you don't like it. That's not illegal.
Obama decides to shoot you in the face. That's a crime.

Now what CRIME has he committed which warrants impeachment. Parking tickets need not apply.

Isn't it funny how you hardly hear form the repubs? They just died out. Even PJ doesn't even post here any more.

I remember PJ telling us how good the economy was and that we were a bunch of idiots thinking it was gonna tank. Tho, I'd like to see some faith from him and continue to post now that obama is in charge. What the hell happened just because someone else stepped in doesn't mean you gotta get all sore about it and stop posting. Sheesh... I've noticed that repubs are taking this way to hard and seriously didn't know what a bunch of pansy ass's they really are.

Did you just pick a random thread to post in without even reading it? The OP is a Republican, there have been countless threads over the past few weeks criticizing Obama and the Democrats, made by conservatives and Republicans. Did you mean to post this on a different message board?

Remember this Obama speech tidbit?

Video

But this year, Obama voted against cutting $23 billion in federal programs rated ineffective by the Office of Management and Budget.

Now anyone listen to the part Obama?s budget speech where he is going to great lengths to cut out wasteful spending and going to go page by page in his budget?

PRESIDENT OBAMA DELIVERS REMARKS ON HIS F.Y. 2010 BUDGET REQUEST

And that's why on Monday I held a fiscal summit to come up with a plan to put us on a more sustainable path. And that is why, as we develop a full budget that will come out this spring, we're going to go through our books, page by page, line by line, to eliminate waste and inefficiency.

This is a process that will take some time, but in the last 30 days alone we have already identified $2 trillion in deficit reductions that will help us cut our deficit in half by the end of my first term.

For example, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is saving nearly $20 million with reforms to modernize programs and streamline bureaucracy.

Interior Secretary Salazar will save nearly $200 million by stopping wasteful payments to clean up abandoned coal mines that just happen to have already been cleaned up.

Education Secretary Duncan is set to save tens of millions of dollars more by cutting an ineffective mentoring program for students, a program whose mission is being carried out by a hundred other programs in 13 other agencies.

We've targeted almost $50 billion in savings by cracking down on overpayments of benefits and tax loopholes. That is money going to businesses and people to which they are simply not entitled.

This is just the beginning of the cuts we're going to make. No part of my budget will be free from scrutiny or untouched by reform

I can believe that man has the unmitigated gall so say that after he signed off on a stimulus bill loaded with more unnecessary spending than any other bill in history. Then has the nerve to submit a budget in which there are some 9,000 pet projects loaded in to it and at least one is his! (Oh and since he got caught they are going to edit his name out and attribute it to someone else.)

Hell, we did not need over half of that stimulus package, nor do we need most of that gargantuan budget particularly with our current economic crisis. Any kind of responsible leader of a nation in the situation we are in would be doing everything humanly possible to cut spending to a bare minimum; he is doing the exact opposite.

He is obviously not in it for the people or the country he is really just a smooth talking two faced lobbyist ***** like Biden, Pelosi, Reid, and the rest! He with the help of the democrat controlled congress are raping America?s future and selling the proceeds to the highest bidder.

I think he needs to be impeached because of this, am I wrong?

Your an idoit!! Goofy too!! Sheese the dudes been in office a month....and your kind who are sore losers are calling for his impeachment...hahahaaa

It's "you're" idiot.

no worries I suck at spelling & grammar too!

Obama is trashing the country though.

Bush Trashed it yes. But He is going to look like a hiccup compared to obama. He's already spent more than Bush and most of it was on shit. I'm not saying Bush didn't waste money, he did but at this pace the dollar will be worth shit soon.

Can anyone deny Obama thinks we just have an ATM in the white house?

You fail because the premise you put forward is that everyone is a terrorist. Now what did those Chinese do that warranted being in gitmo? Oh yeah, the Chinese didn't like them. Those warm friendly promotors of human rights

Better to torture the innocent than give them the right to be found worthy of punishment. Bush said it, you believed it, and that settles it. Bizarre religion that is.

What do all of you suppose we should have done? Nothing? Doing nothing would have been the worst possible decision to make.

So because you can't keep your mouth shut, I owe you a monitor. What are you going to do, call up Obama and tell him to tax me more? Who doesn't have a grasp on reality again? Republican base has 20x the grasp on reality that you have. Republicans would say "shoot I just ruined my monitor, I better go get another job so I can buy one." The democrats would say "hey government, I ruined my monitor, but it's not my fault! I deserve a monitor! this is america! tax the big evil rich people and buy me a new monitor!" and then would elect someone like Obama and he would do it for them.
