Why is Netflix only showing part of what's on instant watch

I really like Netflix on the 360, but I'm getting a little annoyed at how they sort (or DON'T sort at all) available titles properly. For one, each category seems to be in a totally random list... why can't it be alphabetical? Unless I'm missing something.

Second, I'm only seeing a small chunk of what's actually available. When I log into Netflix from the PC I can add all sorts of stuff to my instant queue and then watch it on the 360, but they weren't part of the things visible on the 360. Why?

I'm hoping I'm just missing something here, otherwise something is horribly wrong with this system.

Isn't there a Search option? I know it's not as good as the PC and neither is the PS3 version, but the PS3 one has a search option that at least helps. I don't know the 360 one at all, because I have no interest in paying for Live right now.

For the time being you still have to use a PC to really browse the library. The 360/PS3 stuff is actually on separate servers than the PC stuff. I actually sometimes have issues with Netflix on the PS3 that isn't present on the PC. I hear Roku users got it real bad.

Yea I add everything from my PC. There's just a fraction on the PS3/Xbox.

Yeah, I noticed this my first time as well.

Best thing to do is use the PC to add things to your instant queue, then pick the title from that menu.

I just signed up for netflix and activated my XBox 360. When I first signed on, it was showing a bunch of movies in a lot of different categories. Now it's only showing Party and Instant Queue. Is there a way to show all the movies?

The PS3 got search earlier this week, or at least I'm assuming it has the ability to search the entire Netflix streaming catalog. The 360 Netflix is supposedly getting an update (most likely next week) alongside the big dashboard update.

Yep. Netflix for the 360 is getting an update too complete with search functionality.

Suggest everyone interested in Netflix streaming subscribe to the new titles RSS feed (listed somewhere on the Netflix site). Just today I see 36 added....there are tens of thousands available now.

Yeah, I've had the beta 360 update for the past month or so now, and the Netflix update definitely makes browsing movies directly from the 360 a lot better, and then obviously adds search functionality as well. I think its still easier to add stuff to the queue from a PC, but it's definitely doable directly from the console as well.
