Why is my video dark?

It doesnt matter if its WMP or Quicktime, when I try and view a video from the net the picture is dark. My desktop is fine and my games are fine. Everything is fine except for this. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Could it be Firefox 2?

Try reinstalling your GPU drivers.

Go into your video/overlay control panel and raise the brightness.
