Why is my system give me the blue screen of death?

HI I just put together my AMD 64 Abit AV8 with 3000 939 CPU. I did flash my bios to 1.6 which is the latest one. It still give the the blue screen of death when I try to install window. Whats going on here? Can any one help me plz? I didnt even start to OC yet.

Sounds like bad memory.

Run memtest and see if you get any errors? If you do, then you know what the problem is.

ya Some thing is wrong with my bank 3 and 4!!! Abit SUX!! lol RUnning fine now on bank 1 and 2. Should I do the RMA? cuz I just put my huge TT slienttower in there and dont want to take it out ever again. THanks for advice people.

stop using microsoft?

RMA it or exchange for Chaintech/ DFI mobo

or email abit and tell them to revise BIOS, i don't think RMA do any good.

is it me or do Abit mobos run into memory problems all the time?

ya Only this board tho, I never had problem with NF7S with my 2500M before.
Ok any way Im running at 2.25 250x9 primestable here with CPU at 42 C load and 33 idle
Oh any advice on what NB and SB chipset voltage to be at?
