hi,

i posted elsewhere regarding this matter already....i have a Soyo Dragon +, XP1800, moderately overclocked, crucial2100 ram, rad8500 running win98/se.

Every time i boot up my sys after it was off for a longer time (night) and case/cpu temps are about in the 25C range i can almost BET i get a crash, especially running apps like SETI or other heavy calculation stuff....

As soon as my temps raise to eg. 40C cpu (idle) my sys is rock stable and i dont have any problems...i can even run prime for hours...no problem...

People told me it may have to do with bad pci/ram connections, whatever. So i re-seated my ram-stick..and my gfx card and everything....but it's still the same...i have a flakey system the first 5 minutes after the 1st boot...but then everything works well...

strange....
