Why is my O/C 1.6A@2.1Ghz shows up under XP as 1.8Ghz?

I am using the Epox 4G4A+ and I got the 1.6A@2.1Ghz. However, under Windows XP pro, it shows up as Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.6GHz, 1.8GHz, 1.00GB of RAM.
Is there a patch or fix to show the right clock speed?

Thanks.

What are you using to check it? WCPUiD shows the correct speed in WinXP on my system, as well as the other monitoring software I'm using...:)

Actually, none of the software you have mentioned. I just go into my computer properties and there it is.

Download WCPUid (very small, free download, check out SupermanCK's software post for link), and try that. Good luck! :)
