My wife listed on old EVGA x58 3xSLI motherboard on ebay for me. Model 132-BL-E758-A1 which is included in the listing. No CPU and no RAM, just motherboard. It was removed from a working PC and no pins are bent. Bidding is up to $212. Why is this thing selling for so much?
Probobly because everyone realized the old 6C/12T OEM xeons are really fast for really cheap. Back in the day I bought a pair of L5639's for $150 shipped, thats 24 intel threads for $150..
I've got an older MSI x58 Pro board with an i7-930 CPU that is unable to be upgraded to the six core Xeons. There is some obscure power delivery hardware difference that prevents that from happening.
So: be careful & double-check for compatibility when looking to upgrade an x58 board to a Xeon CPU.

Be wary of non-paying buyers. Just because an auction ends for much higher than expected doesn't mean you'll actually get that much. Wait until the money is actually in your PayPal account. I suggest cancelling bids if a buyer has zero feedback.
Sell it high to suckers while it's still worth something. They don't see the big cost/benefit picture that a longevity of a 6+ year old mobo is already highly suspect, made even worse by the furnace-hot X58 chipset.
