Question Why is my computer hardware beeping?

Every time I move the mouse I hear a constant beep for as long as I'm moving the mouse. If I just move the mouse a tad I'll hear justa single short beep. Ask me any further questions about the problem if you need.

PS/2 keyboard controller overflow? Mouse movement triggering CPU activity, and CPU overheating? Bad CPU fan? Interrupt load too high, driver dropping interrupts?
There could be an overflow. I'll make adjustments to find out. I just encountered a new bigger problem with my computer so I'll have to wait until that's fixed. Long story short my hard drive isn't responding. I'll keep your suggestions in mind.

Yeah, I think that the Windows (at least the mouse) input driver, beeps at you, when it drops input packets due to overflow.

If your HDD is not responding, then things get "backed up" (like a plumbing drain that's clogged) in processing, which can lead to the beeping on mouse movement.

Get the HDD thing / freezing fixed, and the mouse beeping should go away.
