Why is my bus speed reduced to 99.98MHz when I set XMP timings?

Hello,

first of all, I fully well understand that this is such a small difference, I shouldn't worry about it, but it's still something I'd like to have explained.

To start with this is the setup:
Rampage IV Black Edition
i7-4930K
16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum (CMD16GX3M4A1866C9)

Basically the problem is, whenever I apply the XMP profile or enter the the timings myself manually, the bus speed is always reduced to 99.98MHz. I had this issue with an old Kingston kit, and assumed I should opt for RAM on the QVL.

I see a lot of people who own 4930Ks with a 100MHz bus, so it kinda troubles me. Am I doing something wrong?

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain to me what's happening in layman words.

Umm... what?

My bus speed is 200.93MHz.
Now 200.92MHz
Now 200.94MHz
200.92
200.94
200.93

GPU is 702MHz
Shaders 1728MHz
NB is 1607.5
HT is 1004.69

0.02MHz wouldn't have even been relevant in an 8088.
