Why is my AMD64 3200+ so hot??

Im running a amd 64 3200+ with a venus 8 HS/f.


Im wondering if these idle temps are normal?? 35-40C with 4 case fans, the computer room is at 22C all the time.


help?

What are your load temps? What is your board?

Doesn't matter how many case fans you have in the case if they're not doing the proper job. Where are the fans positioned, and how are they blowing? If they're fighting each other, you're doing yourself no good, and possibly causing hot air to sit inside the case.
