My Flash IDE drive thats 400mbits a second/ 40 megabytes a second loads up windows in 2 Seconds. My raptor drive (74x2)in dual raid takes about 30 seconds, and bechmarks at 98 mbs average on hdspeed full, on quick 110 mbs average.
?I cant understand why my slower flash ide drive is like 10times faster

Sure mr "Tux".
I know thats best but My CeleronD runs 70C, and ive double checked its burned in and tight. Anyways any clue? I was thinking of buying these 200 mbit a second flashdrive and sell them as something faster than a raptor, but not sure why there slower than a raptor, i mean whats latency with a hardrive

It's because your RAID hardware drive will have to wait like 4 milliseconds for every read from a different sector. This is totally unlike the RAM-based drives (or flash based) that will happily return data from any area of the drive instantly (with no supplemental wait time)
