I have a sapphire 9800 Pro that I got off of newegg refurbished. It's overclocked to 420 core and 360 ram.

With AA and AF off and texture qualitys and all settings at their lowest in display properties for the card, i get 15000 on 3dmark2001se on 1024x768.

I am running an athlon 64 2800+ @ 1.98GHz with 512 MB of PC4000.

Why is my score so low??? I just recently upgraded to this cpu. With my Athlon XP 2400+ my score was around 12000.

well i would say that looks ok, u really need more than 512 ram nowadays so id be gettin sum more if i were u. better jus check you are running your ram at the right speed tho, i mean not sure with the athlon 64 bout fsb settings because they kinda dont have one but the chip is only a 1.8 in ur case nearly 2.0ghz im just not sure

make sure u got eveyrthing set upright, latest chipset drivers, latest catalysts, and chjeck your ram is running correctly

mayeb u should be getting higher, but as a basic rule i think its anything over 10K in 3d mark means u can play every game that is dx 8.1 of course ;)

2400 runs around the same speed, so for a same speed cpu then 3000 marks is a nice bump
