Why is Mobile AMD 64 at 100%

my Mobile AMD64 3400+ is running at 100%, with page files of 290Mb (using a gig of ram). No applications are running - and I have the typical processes running - say messenger and a couple other things - including Norton. I've run Adaware, and scanned for viruses - nothing has come up - and while doing basically nothing - the CPU is running at 100% according to the Windows Task manager.

What can I do to see why this is happening, and what can I do to alleviate this? Does anyone know what process ccApp.exe belongs to? It is using 30Mb of ram.

Thanks.

are you sureits not 100% "idle" lol?

Otherwise, what process is the cpu hog?

edit: and just FYI, i have a gig of ram, and Page file is at about 260mb atm

I just learned that I somehow got the iosdt.exe trojan.

I used msconfig to do a diagnostic startup to erase the files.

In diagnostic - it doesn't show up - the pnly serach gives two pf files - not even the iosdt.exe application.

Now - when going to a normal startup - its not completely normal - it won;t load everything - even checking all for selective startup (I am using a different computer for this message). So no it seems I am stuck in a diagnostic startup - how can I get out of this now?
