Why is it the most aggressive douchebags on the road tend to be truck owners?

I went hiking today with a friend of mine, we were on a 55mph, 2 lane road, and we were looking for a pull off. We thought we found where we needed to turn but it wasn't the right spot. My friend was driving and signaled that we were going to turn right but when we realized it was the wrong turn off we continued on because the turn off was a couple hundred feet up the road. Meanwhile, this douchenozzle in a Ford F250 with a huge lift had practically run us down and was about to pass us when we decided not to turn. We go up the road a little further to where our turn was and signaled again and this fucknut was right on our ass. As we pulled into the turn lane he floored it and left a huge black cloud of smoke to show us his anger at being delayed 3 fucking seconds.

God I hate dickheads like that. Is it wrong for me to hope that he dies?

Here is where we hiked. This is part of the Palomar Mountain range, we hiked about 4.5 miles in and then hiked back out. We were parked about center of this pic, way down in the bottom of that canyon.

2 lane 2 way or 2 lane per way?

If he could have switched into the left lane, yea I agree.

One lane each way with no shoulder to speak of. Doesn't matter though, if you're traveling down a road such as this with turn offs and driveways all over the place you really have to expect that people are going to slow down for them and not ride people's ass and get all fucking pissed off when you have to slow for someone who is turning. It's called common courtesy.

Definitely the ones with any off-road type tires and/or lift. Around here they always have to pose like they are hard, tailgating and trying to act like their truck is somehow fast.

Pretty much the equivalent of ricers in bigger vehicles.

Yeah, when I was driving through the Smoky Mts, there are tons of pulloffs/turn in thingies where you can park and hike down/take pictures/etc.... Everyone in their minivans etc... was always a nice distance and such. It's always some white male in a big truck that's 2 inches from your bumper. To me, I see a lot more Tundra owners that like to be 2 inches from my rear bumper, so I lightly tap the brake pedal continuously while in front, slow down to match the speed of the car in the lane to the right (while in the left lane) etc... just to piss em off more.

What about Prius drivers that drive like ass holes? Maxima drivers? Ferrari drivers? Corolla drivers?

Do they all have small penises and bad ass mentalities too?

I've never met an aggressive Prius or Ferrari driver. Smug Prius owner? Yes. Nonchalant Ferrari driver? Yes. But never aggressive.

Typically I've seen the guys that have massive trucks, big tires and lifts, and everything perfectly clean because its never even seen dirt are the idiots and jerks.

The guys that actually take their vehicles off pavement tend to be much nicer.

Did he have lots of random crap in the truck bed, like shovels or something? That, or one of those old bed canopies? It always seemed like they were the most aggressive drivers, especially if it was an older pickup.

Yea most likely. I doubt 90% of the lifted trucks here ever go off road, always clean and they always seem to think they can spank my car for some reason.

That reminds me I need to get a pic of this outrageous Hummer I see at a little car sales lot on the way home. This thing is ridiculous, it is higher sitting on the ground than other normal lifted trucks that are sitting on the raised platforms to show off the cars.

I live in Humboldt county, CA, and almost every other vehicle is a lifted weed grower truck. They usually have one or more of the following:

Chrome gas cap
HID's
Giant chrome rims with low-pro tires
Useless lift kits
Clear tail lights
Headache rack
Chrome differential covers
Subs that you can hear a mile away
Loud exhausts

I have a truck too, but with none of the above. I'm going far far away from that "look". I actually use my truck for working out of, and I hate those dbags who give trucks a bad name. My rig: Yes its a diesel, and I've gone out of my way to make it smokeless:

I love Humboldt county although there are too many hicks there and way too many country stations on the radio.

Yes, but if he was the only person behind you and you were basically not sure where to turn (aka lost), then it's also courteous to not make the person behind you slow down to nearly 0 and then back up to speed again and again until you find the spot to turn.

So you should have pulled into somewhere and let him pass if you were not sure about where you were.

That's also common courtesy. It works both ways. Obviously what he did was assholish, but people do assholish things when they get pissed off.
