Why is it that when you're driving and looking for an address, you turn down the volume on the radio?

I don't. I hate when my mom does stuff like that. Turns it down when she's parking, when she's looking for something, anything. Like it really helps her concentrate more or less.

For the same reason restaurants are dark and Ben Affleck can hit a freakin' pole and find where bad guys are hiding...

A freakin' pole!

this thread needs a poll. I do it too :)

I've thought about it, and I think I am better able to concentrate without my attention divided between listening to the music and trying to, say, parallel park into a super tight spot.

How can you live in WI and not drive? Isn't WI even more empty than it is here? Or is it an age thing?

I'm 21 with no licence.
No licence = no insurance payments, no car payments
= $2500 HT for me :D

You thought it was pretty hot seeing their hot bodies on a 76" screen.

?you don't drive?
what are you 15?

Take drivers education if your school offers it,I did,and saved on my car insurance;
up till I turned 25!
I had to take it in the summer,and it still was worth the minor hassle.

I always turn down the radio,or,even turn it off,when parking,backing up.

If you happen to hit something then you will hear it,LOL. ;)

dude...no fair :) I bought my car for just over 2 g's. Then I had to pay state registrations fees and stuff. Then I have to pay for gas every week. Now I have to get it fixed, which is almost $900. If stuff wasn't so dang far away here, I'd take my bike everywhere.
