Any scientific reason for this?

Anyone's eyes NOT water when they yawn?

I think it's like....

yawning = trying to wake up
sleepy = dry eyes

therefore: yawning makes your eyes water to help wake up.

Now, isn't that scientific? ;)

yeah, i hate it.. when i yawn, it's usually a big yawn, or a couple in a row.. and my eyes tear up. it looks like i was crying...

when i was real young, i'd always be embarassed. because i didn't want people to think i was crying :p

I think its because the glands for teardrops get squezed when you yawn.
