Tenser234: as soon as the tv turns on i should see tv out as an option to click and enable

ok... it quite confusing stuff but here is what i got.

rant starts
guys exchanges radeon 8500 for 9600 keeps same drivers. tv-out doesn't seem to work right. guy blames ati for telling him to go to sapphire. guy makes little to no sense.

Lol, funny things you find when you look up old usernames.

I remember this problem. Had purchased an 8500 a year or so previous. Then the board fried. Took it into fry's to get a replacement and bought an open box item. Some ass swapped the board with a non name brand manufacturer and returned it.

This makes for funny memories.
 
One decade old necro. I congratulate you. I was still in high school and hadn't joined AT yet -- profile date is wrong.

So it actually wasn't a 9600?

I had a 9600 way back in the day. I don't recall being too impressed with it. I have returned to ATI after they became AMD lately, but for a while there I went with nvidia after having that card.
 
So you joined just to use your master level 80 thread resurrection spell?
I never went ATI. Just directly to NVidia after the Voodoo fiasco and never looked back.
