why is it that nt machine ONLY allows 1 specific user to log into Domain through it?

its either a NT or NT server box, and ONLY 'BOB' can type in his username and log into the domain through it.

any other user CANNOT.

there's a popup message about userpolicy setting has it such that you cannot log in.... (if you're not bob).

should i edit some local .pol file on c:???
