Why is it that after a name becomes politically incorrect, it is then used by that very group?

It is wrong to call an african american a n****.

It is wrong to call a woman a b****.

And so on...

And yet the very terms are constantly used within these groups as a term of endearment. How does it make that transition? Is it a sense of power in that they can say it but others can't?

Dont mean anything by it, just wondering...

Why do black people call each other n*ggers and then get offended when a white person does it in jest? Isn't that insulting their race, color, and ancestors no matter who does it?

Or why do they call white people crackers with the intent being to insult skin color? Even though the name doesn't bother, it's their motive that does.

I also want to know. Today, I heard a black girl at my school call another b****. I am used to it after spending my life in Memphis, but I always wondered that.

Nope, it's straight-up cancelling out the pinhead hate by appropriating and owning it.

None of you seem to know, but early back in the day, Mr. and Mrs. Jones tried to put down hippies by calling them freaks, as in JoJo The Dog Faced Boy and such.

Well, the "freaks" owned them all so fast and so hard by immediately and enthusiastically claiming that would-be hatey-hate put down for themselves that none of you today even have the first clue what it's genesis was.

That whole game lasted about 60 seconds, and was won by the freaks in a shutout rout.

Well, Ann Coulter did call a group of 9/11 widows "broads". Is that good enough?
