Why is it taking dell 11 days to ship my speakers....

I ordered 6/14, and it says estimated ship date 6/25. WTF gives?? how can it take 11 days to put a sticker on a big box and drop it off at ups?? They dont even have to package it!

I paid with paypal, so the money isnt holding them up. It said IN STOCK, not backordered or something. Just mad because I am used to newegg shipping my products withen hours, not weeks....

Ordered my sound card from newegg a couple of days AFTER I ordered my speakers from dell, and I got my sound card 2 days ago.

are they dell branded or some other brand? if they're some other brand, they're shipped from the distributor rather than dell's own warehouses, and for some reason dell has no idea whether stuff in the distributors' warehouses are in stock or not.

Try order from Lenovo, it takes more than a month to ship a notebook out.

Cuz dell operates on a just in time inventory system. They sell it to you when they don't have it. When you purchase it, they either a. procure all the raw materials from vendors, build it, then ship it to you, or b. procure it from some other vendor, rebrand/box it, and then ship it to you.

dell has practically no inventory on stock.

If so, did you perhaps choose the cheapest method?
Just asking.

I ordered a Logitech keyboard from Dell and got it the next day, using the cheapest shipping option.
