Hi, just install ACDSee 6.0 PowerPack.

when i load ACDSee 6.0 (the one to view pictures), it says "There is no items to display" with a moving flashlight. After 5 seconds, pictures in the folder begin to show.

How can i make it to show pictures once i enter ACDSee? Basically how can i set more cache?

thanks

and very weird, when i sort the pictures by DATE while newest on bottom, when i load, some pictures of my recently saved will be placed in the middle of the list.

why?

Sounds like the application caches the library of thumbnails and doesn't update the library unless forced. THB I stopped using ACDSee at version 4.0 because it kinda lost direction and turned from excellent image viewer to uber-bloatware. I now find IrfanView a much better alternative (and its free!).

I've switched from ACDSEE to Irfanview, and I'm still trying to get used to it. It is fast, and free though. FWIW I prefer ACDSEE5 to ACDSEE6. 6 just seems a lot slower and more bloated.
