Why is it so hard to find an American Flag sticker?

I need one for the roof of my race car right next to my name, I had one there, but it got all messed up from me touching it while pulling myself out of the car. I've been looking for like a 3" x5" American Flag sticker for the past few days around here, and I can't find one anywhere. Damn, right after 9/11 last year, they were everywhere, now it's damn near impossible to find one. It sucks that last year everyone was so patriotic, and I could pick on up at 7-11, and now I try to find one, and I can't find any at the 5 stores I've been to.

I've tried Staples, Kmart, Raleys, Target and some little store. If I wanted a 5 foot by 5 foot light up flag that sticks in your lawn, I could find that, but no simple sticker! Hardware store, that's a good idea. Now that I think about it, I think I remember seeing some there a few weeks ago.

Oh don't worry -- with the anniversary of 9/11 just around the corner, it should once again become fashionable to display patriotic paraphenilia. Therefore, All-American Joe will feed your consumer-cravings by selling it all from the street corner!

Post-9/11 increase in sales of patriotic merchandise: 672%.
Post-9/11 increase in actual patriotism: 2%.

Terrified by newfound realizations of weakness, the proud citizens of the USA comforted themselves by displaying pro-American memorabilia in abundant quantities, and mindlessly chanting "United we stand!" in order to drown out the harsh rumblings of vulnerability and mortality.

(Can you tell I'm pissed???)

How do you measure that?

Look around you! Do you see anyone with more devotion to their country? With more gratitude for the sacrifices that have been made (in the distant and recent past) that have provided our freedoms? With more concern for the freedom and equality of all peoples?

If you do see someone that fits this. . . you've found the 1 out of 50.
