Is anyone else getting frustrated with the amount of incompetence out there on the internet when it comes to buying stuff from private individuals? People will list their cars without mentioning major factors like, oh I dunno, MILEAGE. But they're sure to make a point about the A/C blowing ice cold! There's a guy on Craigslist who has been trying to sell his Hayabusa for the past couple of weeks. He posts his add every couple of days with a link to his website, which shows no asking price or even gives details of how to contact him. Even the scammers give you a way to contact them. And everyone, EVERYONE thinks that their bike is worth the retail price. You're not a dealer, why should I pay dealership prices?
I've also been looking for some new rims for my car. A guy on VWVortex posts a thread very clearly and without any chance for misunderstanding, "I am selling these wheels off of my B5.5. The wheel pictured is the worst of the 4. I paid 1200.00 for the set. I am asking $500.00 and you pick up or pay shipping. If you are close to Reading PA, or Norristown PA I will drive up to 1 hr to meet you or make the delivery."
So you'd think that PM'ing this guy would get the ball rolling, right? Wrong. I PM him. No response for two days. I PM him again. His reply. "PM UserXYZ, they are his rims."

Looking back I see in the thread that UserXYZ answered another question about the rims, but made no mention whatsoever about the mixup in the usernames. So I message him anyway, and I'm still waiting for a response. What is wrong with these people? I WANT TO GIVE YOU MY MONEY, PLEASE MAKE AN ATTEMPT TO TAKE IT.
