Why is it so easy to get weed nowdays?

Back in the 'drugs, sex & rock 'n roll' days we had to hunt the shit down and play games with scumbags.''

Nowdays you can just step out your front door, holler across the street and get the shit delivered to you.

I'm stil on the fence whether I will vote for or against legalizing pot in California. If it happens the rest of the country will follow.

Do I want that weight on my back?

Well as long as your parole is up you can vote even if your felony is on your record in California so I guess those murders you did won't stop you there. 😉

I've never found weed hard to come by outside of the late summer dry spells we used to get many years ago. Heck, there might still be dry spells, but I'd never know it, I just don't go through that much of the stuff.

When I was in high school and college I had access to it everywhere.

Now that everyone I hang out with has kids, not so much.

I think that weed isnt that hard to find now because even though it isnt "legal" most people kinda view it as being so. Look at the states that have basically legalized it...I think that being in America there isnt much (besides smaller state specific stuff) that stays "state-only"...it seems that people seeing that some states are legalizing it makes people think that even if its illegal in your state it is still a "understood" kinda thing...

Plus, lets face it, weed is NOT that bad...I dont care what the anti-smoking commercials and ads say...its just not that bad, especially when compared to alcohol...something that in my mind I dont see how its legal when weed isnt. Being a smoker myself I guess you could say that Im one sided, but my dad died from alcohol so I guess I kinda am, but weed is in NO way worse than alcohol...if I drink half a bottle of vodka Im fucked, cant drive, cant talk, cant walk, cant fuck...if I smoke a fatass blunt I can drive, I can talk, I can walk (though Id rather sit) and I sure as hell can get my freak on...

Plus, whats the average death toll a year for alcohol? 140,000+ a year die from it? How many marijuana deaths a year? 0?

It's funny. I smoked weed maybe 3 times in my life (I'm 35.) Never thought much about it. If they go out an legalize it, I think I might become a severe pothead since I know tons of people I could finally "share" the hobby with...legally.

I am one of the millions of new users that will become drug addicts if they legalize weed.

It's hard to find stuff when you're drunk, stoned, on ludes, and smoking nagauhyde. Plus with that outfit, dealers were embarrassed to be seen around you. I mean if those lapels got any wider, Dumbo was going to hump you.

They should legalize it and tax the shit out of it. Not that I'd use it anyways. I like staying physically active and doing things to keep my adrenaline up. Sitting around smoking weed just doesn't appeal to me.

I like being active too which is why I can't/don't smoke all that often. More than once a week or so and I lose all my motivation.

No you can't, at least not safely. If your saying you can drive just as safely high as sober your lying to yourself. That's another issue in it as well.

But I do agree. Pot should be legalized and tax the shit out of it. I'd say the two main reasons they don't are politics and difficulty in taxing.(i.e. being able to tell the difference between the legal stuff and the stuff sold on the corner) The latter could likely be solved with certain dies or mandating it be smoked in premade blunts.

We should make it fair and ban both alcohol and weed.

Why not just ban everything that gives pleasure but has no real point and/or has some detrimental effects? Skydiving, skiing, fast cars, thongs, salt, etc. How do we decide you ask? Just ask me. That's right! Everything I wouldn't do, no one should be able to do because I'm the shining example of how a human being should be. The great thing is that this doesn't really affect me at all! I wasn't doing any of that stuff anyway, and the rest of the world can only benefit because they'll be required by law to be just like me!

No, I can drive stoned perfectly fine...if not better than when Im "sober" because of the fact that I like to be extra careful. But of course weed has a different effect on everyone...I can smoke a bowl and be relaxed and chill...some people smoke a bowl and pass out or start freaking the fuck out...just depends on how you can take it.

As far as weed being legal and then "taxing the shit out of it" I dont agree with. If the government is going to tax the shit to where a half OZ. costs $50 compared to $25 from buying it from a dealer then no one will ever buy legalized weed...government prices are going to have to be very competitive...plus, I doubt they'd charge that much anyways...if they grow it themselves or subsidize it to other growers then a pound of mid-range weed only costs roughly $400-500...where as "street value"...or the price it is once broken down and sold to the public...is usually twice as much...so a half OZ might cost the dealer $12 but you are paying $25. So basically the government could buy it and tax it 100% value and it would come out to current street prices...and plenty of profit for them.

However, if they choose to be Jew with it, then no, the government isnt going to sell shit or make money...and Im not 100% certain, but if it does become legal can they make all sales of weed outside of "official" sales illegal? I mean, its not illegal to grow your own tobacco is it?

pot smokers are underachievers!

Thats a blatant stereotype...Im a pot smoker every day but Im not a lazy person or underachiever, I workout everyday, I have a good job and make plenty of money...Im even going back to school next year...what have you done "PimpJuice"? However, some people are lazy when they smoke but the same could be said for a lot of things though...do Lay-Z-Boy recliners make people lazy and underachievers? Should we outlaw them too? Because I guarantee that a lot of people would agree with me...

Over all though...I must say...if alcohol is legal being the HORRIBLE drug that it is for so so so so so many reasons (death, accidents, violence and abuse, etc etc etc...) then I see NO reason why weed is illegal OTHER than prehistoric laws made by the rich who were scared that the cheaper more versatile hemp would ruin their businesses and the more obvious reasons like how to tax it and all that other government BULL-SHIT that has to be intertwined with everything you do in life...
