Why is it ok to talk trash but not to quote it?

I am referring to my signature. As stated at the bottom, all of those quotes were stated by AlphaIVT. None of them have been modified. The thread in question is:

I did my part and changed my signature last night, fired off two emails to the mods at least asking why its "acceptable" for AlphaIVT to say those things (he didn't even get a warning) but its "unacceptable" for me to quote the things he stated, but have yet to receive a response back. If its not right for me to quote it, why is it ok for him to say it? I have yet to see you crack down on the stuff he says in his posts, but I get in trouble for quoting him? I'm not trying to cause trouble but considering I'm not getting feedback back from the mods, I figure I should ask everyone else's opinion on this.

and about me getting a warning? lets just say i didn't even get one.
 
now they let you keep that quote there because you verified that I said that? lol, am I that important to you that you put in on your sig? 🙂

I am in three different signatures now. I really have to learn to stop saying stupid things, they are beginning to catch up to me. 😉
 
i had the same thing happen, i quoted a mod saying 'bite me' and they told me to change it...hmmm

You're the one who can't drop the subject. This thread dropped like a rock but you brought it up because like the mod said, you're a whiner. And quite frankly even your crap in my sig is annoying me. (Changed sig)
 
RagingBITCH, you left that sig up for quite some time, around 2 weeks or more, and during that time, I didn't even consider saying something about you. Its like you left for vacation and thought that I'd still be here talking about you, but thats not the way it is, I totally forgot about you, and lets try to keep it that way.
