Vultures would choose whichever carcass was less rotten. At the same rotten-ness...probably yes, a herbivore carcass would provide more fatty energy for them than a lean carnivore carcass.

well now you are just being argumentative [like most of your posts], I don't know of a taste test being performed on Vultures other than they usually choose herbivores as their meal, it's usually always dead that's the way they do it, I think if it got to rotten for a vulture they could hunt down some other fresh kill nearby some of the time at least.

scavengers are part of that matrix really..it should be carn/herb/omnivore + scanvenger.

I simply misunderstood you and was clarifying things. I only had 7 years in the science, and I haven't practiced it since 1995/6.

yeap.

we always had at least 8 cats in the barn. some times we would have more and others less. since they tend to go and come as they please the numbers changed.

we would keep water out in the barn but very little food. but i would find half eaten rats, rabbits etc all over.

not the friendlist cats. though one thought she was my mother. she would always bring me "Food" to eat and fallow me around the property. only cat i really liked, it was a sad day when she died

False. What is stamped in our DNA is that herbivores are a hell of a lot easier to kill than carnivores. When carnivores decide to put up a fight, they will generally hurt you ... even the "weak" ones. If it was stamped into our DNA, no one would ever think of eating dog or cat, but millions do - and it's done throughout the ecosystem.

I heard the exact opposite. Someone told me that dogs are incredibly delicious. I'm not kidding.

In south florida, there is a lot of latin ppl. I have talked to one that said the same thing, although they would not have eaten it if they knew.

They said it was very good and unique. This was at a restaurant in Cali.

yeap. a human will eat anything (even other people) when starving. We go after what is easy to kill. thats why i love apples. i can sneak up on them and get them without to much trouble!

I have eaten a pretty big carnivore: an alligator. My mom has also eaten her pet dog, but she didn't know that it was her dog until after she ate it an her parents revealed the big secret.

Cats and Dogs are just viewed differently because throughout history many civilazations have used dogs/cats for military or civil services. This difference was intergrated into our law system.
