Show us where the Jew touched you.

Oh, the anti-semite card. The forum hadn't stooped to that lately, congrats.

The question woult not be about him, but why you see justice as anti-semitic.

It's a pretty terrible level of dihonesty and propaganda to say that no matter what Israel does wrong, saying it was wrong means anti-semitic.

Ultimately you are harming Israel with such lies, by cheapening the word anti-Semitism so it loses its credibility, when it's so important for the real anti-semitism.

The overuse of the 'anti-semite' card is the same error as the overuse of the word Nazi by the lazy arguer, trying for effect and points, but wrong and cheapening the issue.

Actually I reviewed all of the threads/thread titles posted by the OP, and came to a reasonable conclusion. There are plenty of people here who are opposed to the Israeli invasion of Gaza, but most of them express that in a mature way and do not seem like rabid anti-semites.

Calling some a "Nazi" is beaten to death, but if someone posts a picture of themselves doing a goose-step with a swazi patch, they are still a nazi.

All you came up with here is an attack on a man's character, and one you didn't even bothere to attempt substantiating no less.

Even if dahunan has shown himself to be some Protocols quoting madman in some other threads I haven't seen, that has no bearing on the discussion here.

1. Throw out your cowardly Hamas leaders, who have been hiding behind you in an attempt to get you blown up and make Israel look bad on the world stage. Israel will mop Hamas up for you and happily.
2. Elect a moderate government that wants to root your country in peace and prosperity (both with your neighbors and with the rest of the world)
3. Enjoy the cessation of the fighting, the billions in economic rebuilding that flows into your country, and your newfound reputation as the heroes that ended thousands of years of war in the Mideast
....
4. Profit
That can work, but not until Israel gives up it's ongoing colonization of Palestinian land.

Popular Palestinian support for attacks on Israel only began two decades ago, while Israel colonization of the West Bank has gone unabated for four decades. I would like to see an end to those attacks so that both the Israelis and the Palestinians can live in peace, but to do so requires addressing the cause of this conlifct rather than focusing on the effects.

Sorry friend, but the PLO, A.K.A "Fatah" is in place from 1964, while the Six Days War in which territories were annexed took place in 1967. The fight is for Israel, not just West Bank and Gaza.

Excuse me??

I wouldn't care if this was Canada and Alaska etc.. What I care about is WAR being used to justify mass killings... look at the POS named JS80.. see what he wrote a couple lines above

I have no problem with Jewish people whatsoever.. I hate Zionists as much as I hate Skinheads.. as much as I hate any extremists..

What else I hate is how it seems there is nobody willing to look at both sides of an issue... JS80 is the perfect freak.. if you want to harass someone.

War in Iraq was not justified in my opinion and I made same threads just like these when we started killing innocent Iraqi citizens. How can you justify the killing of 50,000 innocent Iraqis

I also made a thread that asked if all these people who are religious and go to church on Sundays and read and pray use their Jesus heart or a different part of their conscience to cheer the killings of innocents?

Nothing whatsoever provoked Arabs living in the Gaza strip to be upset at Israelis other than their religion?

Lets face it, the Palestinians might be the most stupid nation of everything we knew in the last 30 years. Instead of taking Israel's offers augmented by an unprecedented amount of International aid and building themselves a country, they chose an all-out war, and to top it off, they paid back to Israel for letting go of the Gaza strip in electing Hamas, a tentacle of Islamic Iran and an ideological sister to Hizbullah. If that's not stupidity, I don't know what is. There is absolutely no rational here, unless they think they could win something much grander in the long term - but that's a game that, judging by what's going on in Gaza now, Israel is just not willing to play.

They are just stupid. Idiots. Irresponsible fucks that should be ruled by a dictator just like all other Arabs. You give them a fishing rod and a cartload of fish - they sell the fish for weapons and then throw the fishing rod at Israel.

Unless, for some reason, anyone thinks they are better off now than they were in '94. The only person to benefit from this ordeal is Arafat, who took billions into his pocket.

I am familiar with the history of this conflict and I am well aware of when the PLO started. However, that has nothing to do with my previous statement.

Again, popular support for attacks on Israel didn't start until the First Intifata, in 1988, after 20 years of predominately peaceful resistance to Israeli colonization of the Palestinian territories.

The people of Palestine could completely change their country and Israel permanently for the good if they collectively rose up and booted the extremists and terrorists from their midst. Unfortunately you've got two camps in the country. One is terrified, and rightly so since they are powerless. The other is rabidly hateful and supports the endless perpetuation of the destruction.

I agree with your points but I was referring to the current ongoing ground assault.

Throwing Hamas in front of the Israeli ground forces seems like a great way to get rid of (both of) them.

No shit, Journalists do not represent or act as delegates of "protecting powers". Protecting powers was put into place for states that do not have diplomatic ties.

Note the captials in Protecting Powers, it is first mentioned in the conventions here:

Geneva Convention I, Art. 9

The present Convention shall be applied with the cooperation and under the scrutiny of the Protecting Powers whose duty it is to safeguard the interests of the Parties to the conflict. For this purpose, the Protecting Powers may appoint, apart from their diplomatic or consular staff, delegates from amongst their own nationals or the nationals of other neutral Powers. The said delegates shall be subject to the approval of the Power with which they are to carry out their duties.

The Parties to the conflict shall facilitate to the greatest extent possible the task of the representatives or delegates of the Protecting Powers.

The representatives or delegates of the Protecting Powers shall not in any case exceed their mission under the present Convention.

They shall, in particular, take account of the imperative necessities of security of the State wherein they carry out their duties.

http://spj.org/gc-text4.asp?#1

And now note the Peramble:

The undersigned Plenipotentiaries of the Governments represented at the Diplomatic Conference held at Geneva from April 21 to August 12, 1949, for the purpose of establishing a Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, have agreed as follows:

http://spj.org/gc-text4.asp?#preamble

The Protecting Powers are those nations which have agreed to uphold the Geneva Conventions. Also note that the right to peacefully enter a war zone is not just to delegated representatives, but representatives in general, as well as any compatriots including the Red Cross:

Geneva Convention IV, Art. 143

Representatives or delegates of the Protecting Powers shall have permission to go to all places where protected persons are, particularly to places of internment, detention and work.

They shall have access to all premises occupied by protected persons and shall be able to interview the latter without witnesses, personally or through an interpreter.

Such visits may not be prohibited except for reasons of imperative military necessity, and then only as an exceptional and temporary measure. Their duration and frequency shall not be restricted.

Such representatives and delegates shall have full liberty to select the places they wish to visit. The Detaining or Occupying Power, the Protecting Power and when occasion arises the Power of origin of the persons to be visited, may agree that compatriots of the internees shall be permitted to participate in the visits.

The delegates of the International Committee of the Red Cross shall also enjoy the above prerogatives. The appointment of such delegates shall be submitted to the approval of the Power governing the territories where they will carry out their duties.

http://spj.org/gc-text4.asp?#143

This is how these laws have been understood since their inception, and as Israel's Supreme Court agrees. Dancing around Asherah poles and sacrificing children to the fire of Molech doesn't do anything to change that.

This is simply incorrect, as seen in the end of this thread:
http://forums.anandtech.com/me...erthread=y&STARTPAGE=2

TheSnowman does not understand what he has been posting in this thread as related to international law and journalists.

The pejorative term for it is "information smoothing".

This is what happens in a fascist state. The military ignores the courts, and does whatever it wants.

I've seen his posts too, and I view your conclusion as wrong and abusing the term, as I said. And it's a serious term to abuse. You owe him an apology IMO.

Or you owe the forum a picture of him goose stepping that we have not yet seen to justify your own standard. Seems to me you just don't want to admit a mistake.

Geez, talkabout misuse of the word "fascist".

But hey, that's as good as comparison as to Nazi Germany or the use of the word "genocide".

Sure, send in the so-called journalists, maybe we'll get some more unbiased reporting, and some natural pictures.

Just checking

Also.. wonder if there are other rules and laws of war they don't follow?

Do they blow up schools and universities and any medical centers and water supplies etc..

I remember that in years past they would always do all they could to show how cool and tough they were by cutting off food and water and medicine et al to the ghettos they created

Well, two things come to mind. "No news is good news" and "The truth hurts". After all it is a free press that keeps GOV honest.

You are one ignorant son of a gun aren`t you??
Even your blatantly ignorant statement concerning Israel turning in Nazi Germany is just so far out there.........it makes no sense.

Please explain, that is if you you know how...

The same way an abused child grows up to abuse others. Nazi?? What's the difference but the method and time they take to exterminate the underclass?

Yeah, that video is years old, but it is relevant now just the same.

Note that most of those solders don't even have a good understanding of the greater conlifict. They are just little guys in a great big world trying to get though, following orders and believing whatever justifications they are given to follow those orders, while ignoring whatever facts might lead them to belive otherwise. Guard a checkpoint, raid some suspected terrost's houses, drop bombs from the sky, do whatever it takes to keep your nation safe, and go home for the night to enjoy what little free time you do get out of this world. Many people are doing the same all over this world, good people who have been shamelessly exploited to one extent or another to further the devious goal of perpetuating Israel's ongoing conquest over Palestine.
