Why is Internet Explorer so unreliable on Vista64?

Ever since I got my computer, IE has crashed at least twice a week. It never used to crash in XP. Why is it so unreliable? What can I do to remedy this? The 64-bit version doesn't support flash so I can't really use it on a daily basis.

If IE is crashing, its one of your plugins (flash itself is notorious for this). Disable plugins via IE until you track down the culprit.

Why? I've never had this problem before with Flash.

Are you using the 64 or 32-bit IE? I tried the 64-bit and it was crap. I haven't had a single crash using the 32-bit version on 64-bit Vista in over 2 months of regular to heavy use.

I tried using the 64-bit version but it didn't support Flash so I stopped. I think I'm using the 32-bit version.
