Why is heatware valued more than ebay feedback?

To get a ebay feedback, you actually have to sell or buy something, and there is no way you can fake this. Especially for selling, you will get hit the listing fee if you decide to fake selling something

For heatware, someone can fake their buy and sells. Just set up multiple accounts..

Because there is no way to prove that ebay ffeback belongs to somebody. And in ebay, you get 80 characters, and ususally it is jsut filled with:

A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

and how do you proof the same thing for heatware?

It's simply a house rules thing. Way back when heatware was first set up, the trading cirlce was pretty tight knit. You knew the big name traders, shipped/bought from them first to boost your heatware and then started your own reputation based on solid referals.

FS/T has grown so big a lot of that has been lost.

indeed, id take heatware over ebay if the heat is good...because i hate ebay and ebay and fs/t deals are usually done with alot more communicating and such than a typical ebay deal, at least, thats been my experience
