While ham-fisted in action I think the idea behind it was sound. Parents need to be held legally responsible for their kids.

Why did everyone cheer when the school shooter's parents were convicted, but cry when parents are held to the responsibility of getting their kids to school so we don't end up with more Trump voters?

As I posted in another thread, I will so enjoy watching Harris winning over Trump. It will by any means beat everything that could happen to him otherwise.

In a free country you must ensure freedom for those who oppose you politically. That is simply not the case with Trump and his supporters, they will enforce their beliefs on the opposition, hence the reason for the fascism nomenclature.
