Why is google search engine no longer availabe with firefox?

i upgraded to the latest version of firefox and all of a sudden, all my cookies are gone and i can't use google as my primary search engine anymore.

sounds as though you're not even using your profile, or that your profile is very corrupt

go to the mozilla forums, this subject has been covered in great detail, and how to recover from it

Start firefox in safe mode and use the optoin to reset toolbar and blah blah option, fixes the search engine bug for me.

ok, google is now my default search engine but i still don't have my bookmarks.

it wrote over my bookmarks file and i can't find the original one. 🙁

I use the latest version of firefox, homepage is google, search engine is google... No problems.
