Why is Fox New Defending George Zimmerman?

I can't believe this. It seems like every stupid/evil position of every possible news story is defended by Fox News. All people want is for George Zimmerman put on trial just like anyone else would be if they shot someone.

Why is Fox waiting for the facts and forensic reports and the investigations to be complete before they rush to a racist judgement that this guy needs to be put on trial?

I suppose we're watching a different Fox News channel.

I haven't seen a whole lot of their broadcast lately, but what I have seen annoys me.

Examples: Judge what's-her-name (Italian woman) was talking about Z killing TM in cold blood etc. I find that annoying because 'in cold blood' means the opposite of 'hot blood'. 'Hot blooded' is during a fight etc when there are passions/fear/anger etc. Cold blood is dispassionate, like a for-hire assassin.
Edit: Forgot the Judge lady referred to Z as a self-appointed Neighborhood Watch captain (which is false according to residents).

A woman on a panel (Judy something) in a different Fox News show was proclaiming the outrage about the lead PROSECUTOR wanting to charge Z etc. It wasn't the prosecutor, it was the lead INVESTIGATOR. Big difference IMO. (Also, this allegation was officially refuted by the prosecutor's office but no one seems interested in reporting that. Serino, the lead investigator, has so far refused comment.)

From what I've seen they (like most others in the media) are screwing up the facts and many are on the TM train to fry Z.

It's not just Fox. Most all the right-wing sites are "painting" Trayvon as bad as they can. They're playing to their viewer's demographics.

Remember the Simpson's cartoon. "Not racist, but #1 with racists."

Anyone else would have been arrested under these circumstances. He should stand trial just like anyone else.

Why didn't you just post in the main thread? Your OP doesn't even have evidence of Fox doing anything.

He was arrested, as is well documented.

But eventually that night they determined they couldn't charge him so he was later released.

I watched Insanity the other night, because at first he was being reasonable. So I was curious to see how he was handling it currently. He then countered every point any of his "guests" made with "but John saw Martin on top beating Zimmerman."

I had to turn it off.

so your premise is that everyone that shoots someone is put on trial?
really?
is that your final answer?

Even police have to be reviewed/questioned, and (sometimes stand trial) everytime they use their gun, why should Zimmerman be any more special? Because of Florida's stupid laws, police have less rights to use their weapons than a wannabe.

Yes, I know he was questioned.

Someone was shot dead who was Unarmed and not committing a Crime and you're wondering why the shooter is not being charged with anything?

It should read especially police have to be reviewed and questioned when they use a gun. Zimmerman was arrested and then released, they are still examining the evidence. I'm still waiting to hear about the GSR, shot angle and other things that would indicate to me that it was a murder rather than a self defense shooting. Building a case takes time, sometimes this forum seems to have the patience of a 4 year old.

It really is difficult to charge someone with not committing a crime. What crime that Z did not commit would you charge him with? How about grand theft auto, he did not commit that one, let's charge him with that, sound good?

Yes, I know he was questioned.

non-law enforcement people in other states with different self defense laws that shoot someone often do not go on trial

OP stated "...put on trial just like anyone else would be if they shot someone."
it's a fallacy that everybody that shoots someone is put on trial

Haha... fools... How gives a shit what fox news says or thinks. They are in the ratting profits. If they think they will profit by saying this or that.

Do you really care what they think? I don't put much faith in our news networks.

That being said. So What.
