Sorry, but I'm lmao here.... just seems a little pointless to me to buy a domain and forward the email to a free email address (yes, I know you probably arent the only person who does this) To me that seems like not a very smart idea :p. There are plently of awesome interfaces that are avaliable for web mail if you have your own host.

I would agree.

The smart (and economical) choice is to register a domain and forward it to your ISP's e-mail account, no web hosting required. Just $8/yr and your e-mail address will never change again.

yeah, i pay roughly 20 a year for my domain name, small storage, and email. pretty much a no brainer to me.
