Because only in New York can a jobless aspiring actor afford to live in a swanky uptown apartment, and wear the most expensive clothes. Not only that you also sleep with all your friends. Stuff like this doesn't happen in Houston.

I've been to NYC many times, and you can have it. I'm pretty intense when I'm into a project, but NYC is way too intense for me without any sense of direction to the energy. It's just one big buzz. I'll go there on business, and I'll have a great time visiting my friends, there, but I wouldn't choose NYC as a place to go on my own time.

Also, I like the California motto, "Snow is something you visit!" If you want it, you can drive a couple of hours to our championship ski areas. When you're tired of being cold and wet, you can drive home, and it doesn't follow you. We do have seasons. We just change local produce, instead of weather. 🙂

It could be worse. It could be Las Vegas. 😛
