Why is dslreports.com contacting my computer on its own?

I was reading about the latest sub-seven and decided to check what's up on my server.

Luckly I didn't find port 16959 open, but I found that the port where I have my live streaming video on was on a CLOSE_WAIT status with Foreign Address www.dslreports.com:4918.

I checked my IP with dslreports about 10 days ago, so why in the world would they be contacting my IP today?

I got a score of zero(no reaction from IP) on their test, thanks to my faithful firewall, but I'm sure they didn't test the port that they were connecting to today. Or did they?

Anybody got a good reason for this? Should I write them and ask what's up? Was someone at dslreports literally snooping on me?(live video camera)

Ok, I checked again and the same CLOSE_WAIT status was still there. Now I'm thinking that maybe this is left over from the test I did late last month.

I guess my question now should be, "Why is it still showing up on my netstat?"

Is there a way to release all the connections without having to reboot?

Thanks,
WW

My firewal already monitors outbound traffic. But the port I have open is allowed to have outbound traffic since it is a live camera.

But why is it still showing after all this time? 😕
