Hilarity. He's really running the Best campaign.

A number of British MPs – and their counterparts in Iceland and Australia – have been on the receiving end of “tedious” emails from Donald Trump’s team in recent days asking for campaign donations for the Republican presidential hopeful.

On Tuesday this week Conservative MP Roger Gale appealed to the Speaker of the Commons, saying: “Members of Parliament are being bombarded by electronic communications from Team Trump on behalf of somebody called Donald Trump.

he clearly is looking to drop out of the election and has found a novel way:

prosecuted for violating campaign finance laws

“The Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) prohibits any foreign national from contributing, donating or spending funds in connection with any federal, state, or local election in the United States, either directly or indirectly. It is also unlawful to help foreign nationals violate that ban or to solicit, receive or accept contributions or donations from them. Persons who knowingly and willfully engage in these activities may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment.”

Really only the best people for everything.

Two groups actually filed complaints with the FEC on this. That's not going anywhere. I doubt they will sanction incompetence in what is probably an accidental soliciting from foreign nationals.

Somebody should tell that shit to Hillary Clinton. It's fucking hilarious that Trump can catch so much flack for doing so much less, but nobody seems to want to focus on her.

Someone in the campaign is going to get their pee pee slapped, if true.

This is so clearly illegal and should cause a firestorm for any presidential election.. other than 2016's.

There is still a chance this will become a huge scandal because the evidence of guilt is out there in plain view and there appear to be multiple witnesses.

Or perhaps your memory is short or selective. Let me refresh your memory: Clinton Foundation. Plenty of flacks caught for no wrongdoing.

I guess Trump was testing the theory that we're really as stupid as we look right now. Seems like Trump's M.O. to me.

Clearly not presidential material. Everybody knows you run this stuff through a foundation.

Weeks later after everyone has moved on to the latest bashing, a tiny headline slips through the cracks. It goes something like "Hillary PAC caught soliciting campaign donations for Trump..."
