why is discover cc keep calling for me?

are they calling up others too? For some reason they have my parents phone # and keep calling and asking for me, since i dont have discover cc, my mom asks to take a message but they wont.

I'd follow up, Discover (afaik) doesn't cold call people to offer them credit cards. I'd make sure someone else hasn't opened an account in your name and they are following up on it.

I've only had them call once, and it was after I bought a $850 LCD from Dell. Just making sure it was actually me buying it, and not fraud.

Yup, they call here if we make purchases out of state...
