First the specs of my system,
Asus A7n8x
2500+ oced to 3200+
1gig Corsair 3200
9700 Pro 128mb
15k rpm cheetah boot drive

I have DC set to 1024 with all max video settings and when i check my FPS in the game i usually get 99 and it ocassionally jumps down when im fighting or when i move my mouse fast, however when im playing the game seems really glitchy i can be pinging 25-30 in a server with 99FPS and the game still glitches every few seconds.

Anyone have any ideas why this is? I did a fresh format when i got my vid card not to long ago.

I have a very similar system to yours and I'm not experiencing any troubles. Granted that EA's programmers aren't the greatest and it sometimes crashes on my system too.

I'm running Omega Drivers though.. that might be the difference?

I think i should explain what i mean by glitchy, the game never actually crashes on my it just jumps around/lags every few seconds.

EA didnt program DC, actually. It was a small group of guys making a mod for BF1942.

I know that Trauma Studios developed DC :)

I mean.. BF1942 isn't the most stable game around.. even after all the big ass patches. It was hardly playable at v1.0!

Ya. me and my friend started playing the game when it was in beta, i dont think ive ever seen a game that was so buggy. Even when 1.0 came out it was buggy as hell.

Anyways, changing the sound to 24 channels from 32 channels seems to have fixed my problem. thanks guys.
