Why is Creativelabs always so late with drives for the Web Cam 3 when a new MS OS comes out?

I noticed that it took Creative several months to get drivers out when Win2k was released.
Now with WinMe out there are no drivers for the webcam 3.
I download the drivers for Win98 and when i tried installing them it told me these were for Win98 and Win2k OS's. Well, crap, i thought this was Win98 (3rd ed.)

There a reputable company. They should act like it.
 
Yep, most manfacturers are slacking in drivers now a days. I had a Canon scanner that I had to wait 5 month for Win2k drivers. Most companies are like this now, though some actually have drivers out the MS release day.

They figure that once they sell you the product and have your money, who needs support/new drivers?
