why is corsair mem so much more than crucial?

Crucial directly sells Micron mem from the factory, thus they avoided a huge supply network. Most of the people order it online, so you save some more money. No storage, no transport, + I think they have too much mem in stock. I wouldn't be surprised if prices go up again next year. I already bought 2x 256 sticks just in case. If they still somehow drop in price, I did not lose much money.
