Why is buying a video card so difficult?

ATI X1300 Pro vs ATI X800 GTO

Which card should I get?

I can get both for pretty much the same price. I'm not a big gamer, so something cheap is what I'm looking for.

Get the GTO..its a much better card. Twice as fast imo........Here is a comparison

X800GTO will be faster, but you said you're not a big gamer - what kind of games do you play? If you only play games like the Sims for example, then the X1300Pro would be more favourable as it'll use less power.

Yeah, what games do you play is an important question, as well as what's the resolution on your monitor.

If they're the same price, get the faster one, it's that simple.

My screen resolution is 1600x1200, looks like I'll get the X800 GTO.
