why is beowulf an epic

I seriously cannot wait until this core classes are over. I HATE papers, and ALWAYS put them off until the last minute (tonight/ this morning is a perfect example.)

I even tried getting some from my girl... for the first time EVER she said no. (because she didn't want me to just get up and leave when we're done.)

Did you get a good translation? I got a plain English version of Beowulf that helped tremendously in my British Literature class.

beowulf was fvcking awesome! you want something pointlessly hard, try reading the origional old english version of Dante's Inferno. or better let, having to learn latin and reading the origional, origional

yeah when i was in high school we had to read this. WE had a English version wich did make it very easy to read.

I thought it was very good. maybe not the masterpaice that others make it out to be but still worth reading.

ugggg, beowulf, brit lit class, middle english... brings back some bad memories from my senior year in high school.

Old English and Gaelic was annoying, but we had the English translation with it so, not too bad.
